I agree fully with the first part of your observation (there comes a day when the oppressor won’t meet the cost of oppression), however, I believe that, the oppressed will not only adapt to new freedom, they will never allow another oppressor.

Good observation, but reality is, after being chained for too long, you become institutionalized that freedom becomes foreign…

No, that’s a selffulling mantra.
Once one is free, they also free to unchain the shackles that the mind and emotions had swallowed from the oppressor.
Spit them out, all the shackles, free the entire being.
Freedom did not come thus far to falter.
